My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is doing the number of the day because once I got the hang of it, it became a lot easier and it doesn't take that much time to do it once I got a hang of it.But the hardest part was doing question nineteen because I have to was to show ways to make with, add and subtract or multiply or, division using BEDMAS like (30-10)+8= 28 but I got a hang of it now.

Something that has challenged me this term has been posting stuff on my blog because I have to post three things in one week if I don’t I will be on the black list so that means I won’t be able to do Whetu Challenge. 

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the Jingle for our Jingle. We have to make one about food. I have worked with Shirely and Tamzin for our food. We had Sushi I had a lot of fun. I would love to do another one like this.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was the Anagrams. It was super fun. I have worked with Ihi and Tamzin. We had little bumps along the way but we did it. We didn't get all of the right but we did it.

An aim I have for my learning is getting things done on time and posting stuff on my blog enough in time and not doing it at home.

EGG CARTON CREATION

EGG CARTON CREATION

This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons.

What materials I used was a Egg Carton, Paint, Scissors, Hot glue, Googly eyes, Sharpie and green paper.

What was hard was waiting for it to dry because I need to hot glue the yellow paint with the blue paint and I was under pressure because I went for music for a while.

My turned out nice but the only thing I don't like is that my turtles eyes are because I didn't have a enough time and they look derby but I still like.

I had made turtles in the beach in the water and I added the sand.

Word of the Week Week 11

This is my Word of the Week, The hardest part is was finding the synonyms because some words I don't even know what the word is and hadn't heard of any of the words. The easy part was to choosing the colours because I all was have a idea what my design is.

Blog Challenge

This is my blog challenge, the hardest part was to make the lights on top of the whiteboard but just in case I watch the video, so I don't miss anything and I need to make it the exact height and high enough so I can write stuff down and it won't go, of the white board and the lights won't over take it. The fun part was to make the carpet and the best blog the carpet was a challenge because I have to make it look like it's on the ground and the best blog I did stars because it won't stay on Ihi that long when I post this. The thing I like is that i made some stuff by myself because I couldn't find a picture of what I was thinking.

 

Math's Mystery

This is my math's mystery it was a lot harder this time because it was a murder one it was I work with Tamzin again because I won't be able to do it by my self. My favorite part was working with Tamzin because she is smart and she is the one that makes the sentences and I do the maths and remind her to do stuff because she mind farts some times. The hardest part was to do clue one because it was times and count all the zeros but we were confused so we guess and we went for.

Paper Plane Whetu Challenge

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this, challenge was going to be easy but it wasn't it was super hard when I tested it out but it was a trick one so it went to a side every time, I throw it so I made other one it was quite good so I deiced to do it so i did it was very nice and colourful.

I decided to use the design for my colour design I did scales and colour it in, and left some blank ones and I put black dots on it the colours I used was Orange,Yellow and Black the colour combination look very well with each other. My plane was a Javelin it was super hard to fold but once I got a hang with it, it then became easier.

The hardest part was making my plane because it had to be accurate so it had to be able to fly my one was, accurate but it kept on going to a side.

Word of the Week Term 10

This week I did word of the week It was super easy this time. My favorite part is the stars in the background it was super easy all I need was to ctrl C and crtl V so I don't need to do it every time I added a black broader so it can POP! The thing that challenge me was to find out the definition because I have to add my own words. The thing that was easy was choosing the colour for the background and the design for it. It came out very well I am happy to say that it is a SUPER NOVA!

This is my math's mystery it was a lot harder this time because clue three was confusing a lot and Tamzin is away most of the time because she is the one that figure it out the sentences.The easy part was to do question five because it is just answering questions like how many more rubbers the rulers.Also the easy part was figuring out the answers with Tamzin.

Week 10 Sick Sentences

This my sick sentences it was a bit harder this time the hardest part was to do, was fixing up the sentences because I have to add some When,What,Where and Who well at least one. The easiest part was to find adjectives. The fun part was to find out about adverbs

Blog Challenge

This my blog challenge, it was super fun and it made me think hard. The hardest part was thinking of what to do because it might not be a super nova, I like it when I think I did a good job so I can say it was a super nova. Also filling in the drip effect because there is no drip shape. The easiest part was to make the word happy birthday because all I need to do is, to go on to word art and, chose the font and colour. And the fun part was making it. Also I did a black out line on every thing to make it. !!POP!!

Blog Challenge

This my blog challenge the hardest part was to decide what age I am going to be because i am in between because my birthday is next month. The part that I love is the colour because it pops out and it is bold when you look at it. The easy part was choosing what my achievement was because getting a drivers licence seems hard.

Sick Sentences

This is my sick sentences the hard part was looking for nouns. Easy part was to chose adjectives I think I did very well. And the thing that I enjoyed was making the sentences so I can let my mind wonder what to write.

Math's Mystery The Pancake Pincher

This week I have work with Tamzin again it was super fun the culprits was Seb for the first question we were so confused and we think we got it right but I don't really know for Friday I will cross my fingers all, day hoping to get it right we hope we get pulled out and get it right so we can get a star burst. 

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Ihipera and Jolie.

At first we had trouble with figuring out how to make it stand up by it self .

The easiest thing was making it unique I made baby straw so it can stay and be stead on it own.

The best part of our tower was that it was short but it could still hold a tennis ball and strong.

Our tower looked short and but unstable but it could still hold a tennis ball

In the end we think we did a great and worked together well we are super proud, of what we made but it was super small unlike others.

Word of the week

This my word of the week It was super challenging to find the definition and put it in my own words The easy part was to chose the color. The thing I love about it was that it was different and colorful. I love how I did the gradient. 

Word Challenge

This is my Sick Sentences it was super fun doing it and easy this time I have work by my self so I can add the the words, that is fit for me the hardest part was to think of a word to add to my sentences and think of a describing word. My favorite thing that I did was to fix the sentences that easy part was to make my slide. 

The mystery of the naughty gnome

This week I did the Math's Challenge with Tamzin it was super fun doing it for clue two we skip it because we didn't know how to do it there was only one that was 30cm tall and the rest was less than 30cm tall on the suspect list. We had a lot of fun. I just hope we get pulled out on Friday. Here are some of the pictures.      

Blog challenge Meet my pet

This my pet Kitty, I really love her she is so soft cuddly she like a black pompom. Kitty's favorite thing is to play in the rain she dose't even care if she gets wet when she comes inside she goes against your legs to say hi and she is so wet so I have to dry her with, a towel to give her cuddles. Her favorite treat is temptations and cat biscuits she is so friendly but only thing I don't like about her she kill mice a birds and brings them in the house. One day Kitty brought a rat in the house it was bigger then  her I was so confused how she fit that through her cat door. But I still love her.
