This week I did a Kahoot, The hardest part was thinking of the questions once I got to question 6. The part I had the most fun with was finding out amazing facts about world war 2. The easiest part was writing down the answers.
This week I did a Chapter Chat task, this is the first one that I have completed because the other one I could not get to finish because I was working on getting all my badges. I have done Totter the Tortoise I had no idea how to make it a supernova, so I did the head and legs made out of green cardboard but it still looked like it was empty so I added shelves with food on it I added apples because there, were lots and lots of animals in sids home and one of them was a baby elephant that has a small trunk and it eats apples, and you have to hand feed it because the trunk is too small so it can't feed itself. There was a blind Seal, Filmengo with one leg, Crocodile with no teeth, Tortoise with no shell, Bamaboon with one arm, and a parrot with one wing.
Today we have figured out who the culprit is, it was Mrs, Taffe. Mrs, Taffe has stolen The Whetu HDMI cable and took 18 milky way bars. The crime scene has happened at Whetu in The Milky Way. It happened at 12:58 on 10 of October. Mrs, Taffe has the same shoe size, had a cut on her right wrist, there when the crime happened, fingerprints on the scene and like small choclates like the favorites. She confessed HDMI cable but decided to grab some chocolates on the way and cut her self on the door.

This week I have been doing Grammar cop, I really enjoyed it. It was super easy I will like to try harder one so it can challenge me. The fun part was to finish it.
This week I have been doing grammar cop, it was a bit confusing but I think I got a hang on it but I'm, not sure about the last slide because I don't know what a compound sentence is, so I search it up on google. I had a lot of fun doing grammar cop I am confident doing it. I will like to try something harder even though I don't succeed. I had a lot of fun doing it, I would love to do it another time soon.

This week I have been doing my letter of the week. The hardest part is making the sentence because it didn't make sense. The easiest part was finding the onomatopoeic because all I need to do was search up a image of a onomatopoeic starting with the letter done. The part I had the most fun was making my letter of the week.
This week I did the letter R for letter of the week.The most challenging thing is doing the verb, Proper Noun, Common Noun and Adjective because I forget most of the time what they are. The easiest part was making the sentence because I just used the letters that I got, and made it into a sentence.
This is how it turned up
On Tuesday it was Athletics, I felt anxious and worried at the same time. The easiest event was long jump for me because all you need to do is run and jump as far, as possible and try not to jump off the mat even when your toes go over. The hardest event was the 100 meter race because you don't need to run that far so people just sprit super fast. I have used I CARE for athletics for taking part for every event except for 800 meter race. On athletics we were out of time to do discus so we might do it on, Wednesday but I don't, know for sure. But I'm going to try a lot harder next year.
Today I have been Lifting Fingerprints This is how I did it.
Step 1: I rubbed my finger in my hair so it can show more.
Step 2: Then I placed my finger on the window.
Step 3: Then I brushed some dust on my fingerprint.
Step 4:Then I placed a piece of tape on top of my fingerprint
and rub the tape on top of my fingerprint.
Step 5: And Carefully take off the piece of tape
and put it on black paper.
On Sunday, I was happy I was going back to school so I can see all of my friends even though I have hang outs, but sad at the same time because I can't have a sleep in ever day now. On Monday morning when i got to Whetu I was surprise when I saw the crime scene I was thought someone has broke in and stole, something and police officers are going to be there. Then teachers showed a video I was surprise we get to be a detective I have enjoyed that day I bet I'm going to love this term.
This is my letter of the week it was hard because I have never done it before so it was difficult. My letter of the week is G I have to do 10 questions like find a common noun starting with the letter I had a lot of fun doing it. I think I tried a lot to make it a super nova.
This Thursday, I made crystals on black paper it looks very cool the mixture was made out of hot water and epsom salt in it. It came out very well with a such easy recipe I added food coloring to it, I had blue so I added the blue mixture to the snow it stands out a lot I also added yellow for some stars and red for the snowman's nose, and it came out orange.I really enjoyed it.
This week I made crystals I work with Katelyn and Kiarna we made it out of hot water,borax and food colouring my group choose to make our crystal blue but we added to much food colouring so it ended up as dark blue the hardest part was mixing it because we added to much borax and the fun part was makeing the crystals I really enjoyed it.

This week I did Emoji Coordinates I have to use a different colour for each line it look a bit funky with all of the different colours it look like a disco emoji with all of the different colours once I finish the eyes I knew what it was I was the, Heart Emoji. I really enjoyed doing it.

Whetū Workshops Reflection
During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.
The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been doing Technology because you can do all sorts of stuff for Technology. We animate our name and the second was that we can make people or animals move, jump or move with our computer keys.
The new learning that I have learnt is that vinager is more powerful than lemon juice if you add baking soda to it.
What I have most enjoyed about the workshops is that I get to choose my workshops and have fun at the same time.
I am interested in learning more about Scratch because you can literally do anything with it, like make your own game or a short film.

For inquiry I made a advisement I only three days to make it I have work under pressure to make it a Super Nova. I had added lots of colour to it I also made foot prints to make it more animal like.My topic for this week was should animals be in zoos I think I did very well to make it in three days I have made mistakes along the way but I have tried my hardest to complete it and make it a Super Nova.
This week I have, been away for two days I came back to school on Wednesday so I only had two days and Wednesday and Thursday. For Chapter Chat I did Art for, art I draw evil nachos I have put music notes all over the page because Ross, from the book was listening to a song and it came up with Evil Nachos. To make it a Super Nova I added cheese and label it as a sidekick for the Evil Nachos I had a other idea of making Evil Nachos destroy a city but I had decided, to go for the other idea Evil Nachos in a bowl. I think I did very well for only two days.
The hardest part was to run and, do all of the three laps and don't quit the race.
The fun part was to join in and race other people because and have sausages, and have a juicey.
My aim was to finish the race and I did and know that I tried hard because I have sore legs, from running.
I think I have tried very hard because this year cross country, was a lot different so I wasn't use to it I was so confused what to do.
I have to run two big laps and one small lap it was super hard, but have complete the race and it have push me to the limt.
For this week we have to write about an animal I have chose the poison dart frog I had to write about what it looks like what it does (ing) words and were it lives I think I did very well and I tried my best writing it.

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection
The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is doing the number of the day because once I got the hang of it, it became a lot easier and it doesn't take that much time to do it once I got a hang of it.But the hardest part was doing question nineteen because I have to was to show ways to make with, add and subtract or multiply or, division using BEDMAS like (30-10)+8= 28 but I got a hang of it now.
Something that has challenged me this term has been posting stuff on my blog because I have to post three things in one week if I don’t I will be on the black list so that means I won’t be able to do Whetu Challenge.
The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was the Jingle for our Jingle. We have to make one about food. I have worked with Shirely and Tamzin for our food. We had Sushi I had a lot of fun. I would love to do another one like this.
The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was the Anagrams. It was super fun. I have worked with Ihi and Tamzin. We had little bumps along the way but we did it. We didn't get all of the right but we did it.
An aim I have for my learning is getting things done on time and posting stuff on my blog enough in time and not doing it at home.
EGG CARTON CREATION
This week for our Whetu Challenge we created something using egg cartons.
What materials I used was a Egg Carton, Paint, Scissors, Hot glue, Googly eyes, Sharpie and green paper.
What was hard was waiting for it to dry because I need to hot glue the yellow paint with the blue paint and I was under pressure because I went for music for a while.
My turned out nice but the only thing I don't like is that my turtles eyes are because I didn't have a enough time and they look derby but I still like.
I had made turtles in the beach in the water and I added the sand.

Whetu Challenge - Paper Planes
Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.
Before we started I thought this, challenge was going to be easy but it wasn't it was super hard when I tested it out but it was a trick one so it went to a side every time, I throw it so I made other one it was quite good so I deiced to do it so i did it was very nice and colourful.
I decided to use the design for my colour design I did scales and colour it in, and left some blank ones and I put black dots on it the colours I used was Orange,Yellow and Black the colour combination look very well with each other. My plane was a Javelin it was super hard to fold but once I got a hang with it, it then became easier.
The hardest part was making my plane because it had to be accurate so it had to be able to fly my one was, accurate but it kept on going to a side.
Tennis Ball Tower Challenge
Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).
Today I worked with Ihipera and Jolie.
At first we had trouble with figuring out how to make it stand up by it self .
The easiest thing was making it unique I made baby straw so it can stay and be stead on it own.
The best part of our tower was that it was short but it could still hold a tennis ball and strong.
Our tower looked short and but unstable but it could still hold a tennis ball
In the end we think we did a great and worked together well we are super proud, of what we made but it was super small unlike others.
Whetu Catapult Challenge
The things that I used to make my catapult were 1 plastic spoon, 2 big Popsicle sticks , 8 small Popsicle sticks and 6 rubber bands.
To make my catapult I worked with Ihi and Tamzin.
The most challenging part was building it under pressure and choosing the catapult.
Our best results were that it was staying together and the rubber bands won't break once it went on.
Overall I think that we have tried our best it was a lot of fun doing it .
Today I have flew my kite a get to make it. It was super fun and my brother have to make one as well so I have help him. Work very well but sometime it went super, high up and sometimes it doesn't fly the hard part was making it go in the air once it got stuck in a tree and I accidentally pull it and ripe it so I taped it back up the tape put a bit of weight on it but it still work.
This week I did some baking for the doctors that look after Fudge, I chose fudge because they look after Fudge. When I heard that Fudge swallow Dribble I was surprise like how did he swallow him whole. Dribble must be quite small to be able to swallow it was super fun making the fudge with my mum because so I know what to use and not to use and the and how much to use because I never made fudge before, my favorite part was mixing it so when my mum wasn't watching will put a bit, of the batter in my mouth I also ate some chocolate chip as well and I ate some white chocolate also. When my mum pore the batter she said it was sticky. When it was cooking I could smell it, it was so nice. 
This week I did Dribble the turtle,I was looking for a kawaii theme it looks super cute I am surprise I did that I used my colored pencils, to make it pretty nice I used a photo and copy it by hand the hardest part was making the detail on the shell because now it looks like diamonds,but it still looks good and I put the turtles name on the page and put dribbles under it and I colored the paper all blue,so it looks like the turtle is in the water.
This week I did Digital Design, I made a steamboat it look like a super nova to me the hardest part was doing the crate of fish because I add a heaps of lines on it, I add a name for the steamboat the easy part was making the steamboat I add a person fishing because there in the water, I have add the rest of the team and made them different heights to make it realistic I think the team that had the, steam boat was the Cody's Cowboys so I used a cool text and made it look like a cow I made a steamboat because in the story they found a steamboat and, found out it was one of the teams.
